Recently, CSSC Shipping and CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International signed a contract for the construction of a 1600 dwt self-propelled jack-up platform wind power installation ship.
This not only marks that CSSC Shipping has officially entered the new field of wind power, but also will improve China's offshore wind power industry chain, promote the coordinated, rapid and green development of the offshore wind power industry, and help achieve the goal of "dual carbon".

The ship is financed by CSSC Shipping and CGN International Financial Leasing in the form of joint lease, and chartered to Xiatian Bihai (Guangzhou) Offshore Wind Power, with a chartering term of 5+5 years.

The ship is classified into China Classification Society (CCS) and is scheduled to be completed and delivered in October 2023.
