Hudong-Zhonghua delivered Chinese-funded LNG carrier "SHAO LIN" Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-10-26 14:19

On October 25, the first of six large 174,000 m3 LNG carriers, "SHAO LIN", built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of CSSC, was christened and delivered.
 

This is the 40th LNG ship delivered by Hudong-Zhonghua. It is the first ship in the series of 6 large 174,000 m3 LNG carriers in COSCO SHIPPING PetroChina International's LNG transportation project.
 
The ship has a total length of 295 meters, a width of 45 meters, a depth of 26.25 meters, a speed of 19.5 knots, and is classified into American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).


Hudong-Zhonghua is the only shipping company in the world that can build NO96 and MARK III LNG ships at the same time.
 
At present, Hudong-Zhonghua's LNG ship product is constantly enriched, and it has a full range of large, medium and small LNG ships, LNG-FSRU, LNG bunkering ships, and LNG powered ships.
