On October 12, ONE FREEDOM, the first 15, 000TEU container ship built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for SEASPAN, departed for its maiden voyage.
The ship is the first in the series of seven built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for SEASPAN and the largest container ship built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.

The ship has a total length of 366 meters, width of 51 meters, depth of 30.2 meters, design draft of 14.5 meters, structural draft of 16.0 meters.
The ship can loaded 15,250 TEU containers, of which 6,392 TEU is in the cargo hold and 8,858 TEU is on deck. The refrigerated container can load 1,733 FEU, with 400 FEU in the cargo hold and 1,333 FEU on deck.
It is equipped with hybrid desulfurization tower, EGR and SCR system to meet IMO's special emission requirements for emission control area (ECA). The sulfur oxide content of exhaust gas is less than 0.1%, and the nitrogen oxide reaches Tier Ⅲ.
It is understood that ONE FREEDOM was named on October 10 and signed and delivered on October 11.
