On August 10, Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry, China Shipbuilding Trading and Gentco Logistics signed a construction contract for two 11,300-dwt stainless steel chemical tankers.
The signed project ship has a total length of 131.7 meters, a width of 20.2 meters, a depth of 10.5 meters, a structural draft of 7.7 meters, a deadweight of 11,300 DWT, a design speed of 13.5 knots. The ship is classified into CCS and is registered under the Chinese flag.
The ship meets the requirements of Tier III emissions. It is a new generation of high-end stainless steel chemical tankers with advanced technology and green environmental protection.
