On August 8, the steel cutting ceremony of the second large cruise ship was held at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding of CSSC.
The large cruise ship is Vista class, classified by LR and CCS, owned by CSSC Carnival.
It is understood that in November 2018, China's first domestic large cruise ship construction contract was signed. China State Shipbuilding, Carnival and Fincantieri signed a contract to build 2+4 Vista class cruise ships of 135,000 DWT. On October 18, 2019, the steel cutting ceremony of the first large cruise ship was held in SWS.
