CMES Signs Long-Term Charter Deal for LNG Carriers with Sinochem Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-08-05 15:31

China Merchants Energy Shipping announced that CMES LNG, an overseas wholly-owned subsidiary, and Sinochem Petroleum Shipping Singapore have completed three long-term charter agreements for LNG carriers.
 
In the terms of chartering ships, the long-term charter involves three ships among the 2+2 LNG carriers built by DSIC, which are expected to be delivered between 2025 and 2026.
 
The chartering period shall not exceed 30 years. The agreement is expected to be no more than US $2.5 billion.
