On July 7th, the project contract of four 1,100TEU container ships signed by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry of CSSC and CA SHIPPING officially came into effect.
The 1,100TEU container ship is the third generation of Sino-Japanese shipping container ship newly launched by SDARI, which has further improved in economy, comfort, energy saving and environmental protection. The ship is 147.9 meters long, 23.25 meters wide, 11.5 meters deep, and 8.5 meters draft. It can carry 1,182 20-foot standard containers and meets EEDI 3 requirements in all respects.
