Qingdao Beihai delivered the 210,000 DWT bulk carrier "SHANDONG PEACE" to Shandong Shipping Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-05-19 14:51

On May 18, the second 210,000 DWT bulk carrier "SHANDONG PEACE" built by CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding for CDB Leasing and Shandong Shipping was successfully delivered and a christening ceremony was held.

"SHANDONG PEACE" is the final ship of the project of four 210,000 DWT bulk carriers between Shandong Shipping and CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding.

"SHANDONG PEACE" is a Newcastlemax bulk carrier with a total length of 300 meters, a molded width of 50 meters, a molded depth of 25.2 meters, a design speed of 14.5 knots, registered under Hong Kong flag, and classified into LR and CCS.
The ship meets the requirements of HCSR regulations, is equipped with EGCS and SCR, has obtained CCS "SEC (EGCS)" and "NEC (SCRS)" notation, and meets TIER III emission standards and EEDI Phase II.

In the future, Shandong Shipping will make a strategic layout for the green and low-carbon transformation of the shipping industry, and continue to move towards a new voyage of high-quality development.
