China Merchants Industry wins 2.4 billion FPSO hull construction project xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-11-23 16:31

On November 18, China Merchants Industry and CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited signed a ship hull construction contract worth 2.41 billion yuan for Lufeng 12-3 oilfield FPSO project.
 
Lufeng 12-3 Oilfield FPSO is a 100,000-dwt FPSO supporting Guangdong Lufeng 12-3 Oilfield development project. The ship is 241.5 meters long, 45.2 meters wide, and 25.4 meters deep. Its mooring center has a water depth of about 236 meters.
 
This project is the first "EPC project" of FPSO undertaken by China Merchants Industry, which is of great significance for China Merchants Industry to continuously enrich FPSO production and construction experience and build FPSO one-stop delivery capacity.
 
CNOOC Energy Technology & Services invested 2.41 billion yuan to build FPSO, with a ten-year service contract worth 4.4 billion yuan
 
Lufeng 12-3 oilfield FPSO is the core of Lufeng 12-3 oilfield development plan, and MARIC is responsible for the hull design.
 
The FPSO is classified into American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and China Classification Society (CCS).
 
Lufeng 12-3 oilfield FPSO project will further expand the scale and market share of CNOOC's development of FPSO, and consolidate CNOOC's absolute dominant position in China's offshore FPSO service market.
