CDB Leasing plans to buy two LNG carriers for $248 million xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-10-15 16:35

CDB Leasing announced on October 13, 2021 that it intends to purchase two LNG carriers through a wholly-owned special purpose company for a total cost of $248 million.
 
One LNG carrier was purchased from GAS-ten Ltd at a price of $128 million, and the ultimate beneficiary of Gas-ten is GasLog Ltd. Purchase another LNG carrier from GAS-three Ltd for $120 million, and the ultimate beneficiary of Gas-three is GasLog Partners LP.
 
'Entering into a ship purchase agreement is conducive to giving full play to the advantages of the transaction and is conducive to increasing the company's market share in the ship market, which is in line with the company's business development strategy,' the statement said.
