On April 29, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) named and delivered the 62,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp ship N1009 built for COSCO SHIPPING Development and CNIC Corporation Limited.
 
The ship is the 12th multi-purpose pulp ship built by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) and the 100th shipbuilding product delivered by CHI (Dalian).

"COSCO Shipping Vision" is registered under under the flag of Hong Kong and classified into CCS. It has a total length of 201.8m, a width of 32.26m and a depth of 19.3m. It has a structural draft of 13.3m, a speed of 13.5 knots, a endurance of 22,000 nautical miles, a deadweight of about 62,000 dwt and a cargo hold capacity of about 72,500 cubic metres. The main engine meets Tier III emission requirements.
 
"COSCO Shipping Vision" is operated in Dalian by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers. It is also the 12th 62,000 dwt multi-purpose pulp ship operated by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized.
