On November 20, China Shipbuilding Trading and CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding signed a "cloud contract" for the construction of 2+2 1900TEU container ships with Taiwan KANWAY LINE.
The 1900TEU container ship signed this time is a vessel independently designed by Huangpu Wenchong and also the main construction vessel of Huangpu Wenchong. The vessel is 172 meters in length, 27.5 meters in width and has a structural draft of 10 meters. It is a modern, energy-saving and environment-friendly container ship.
Taiwan KANWAY LINE was established on January 1, 2007. Since its establishment, KANWAY has been operating regional routes from Taiwan -- Hong Kong -- South China (Guangdong Province), Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai and other places for more than 16 years. In addition, from 2000 to 2002, it operated the Far East (China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan & Southeast Asia) to South Africa.
