“M/T STAR RIVER” was Delivered as the World Largest Tonnage
The Naming & Delivery ceremony was held for the 37,000DWT Asphalt Tanker On the morning of Feb 5. The Great ship was built by Chengxi Shipyard for Kumiai as the world largest tonnage.
Present at the ceremony were Mr. Nobutaka Mukae, President of Kumiai Senpaku Co., Ltd,God mother Ms. Hao Yuan, Genenral Manager of Weihai Lanchuang Import and Export Co., Ltd, Mr. Alex Hua, Managing Director of STAR ENERGY(CHINA) Company Limited, Mr. Claude Maillot, Senior Vice President, Chief Executive for Marine & Offshore Operating group North Asia Zone, Bureau Veritas Marine(China) Co., Ltd, Mr. Tan Li, General Manager, COSCO SHIPPING ASPHALT (HAINAN) CO., LTD, Mr. Wu Aijun, General Manager Assistant, CSTC, Mr. Wang Yongliang, Chairman of Chengxi Shipyard, Mr. Lu Ziyou, President of Chengxi Shipyard, Mr. Zhou Jianxiang, Vice-President of Chengxi and other representatives concerned.
God mother Hao Yuan named the newbuilding “M/T STAR RIVER”, wishing her a safe long voyage.
