Dalian LNG terminal officially opened xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-09-21 16:40

On September 17, Dalian LNG terminal officially opened to the public, marking that the only LNG terminal port in the northeast provinces has officially opened to the public.

This will play an important role in building Dalian into an international shipping center in northeast Asia, playing the strategic advantage of energy in the national "One Belt And One Road" construction, and ensuring the people's livelihood demand for natural gas in northeast China.

In recent years, natural gas, as a high-quality, efficient and clean fossil fuel, accounts for an increasing proportion of China's energy consumption.

As an important source of offshore natural gas in the northeastern provinces, Dalian LNG terminal is responsible for the supply of natural gas in the whole northeastern region and parts of North China.

After the LNG terminal is officially opened, the port inspection mode will be greatly optimized to avoid the risk of ship detention, which improves the flexibility and stability of ship operation, and provide strong guarantee for LNG ship berthing and departure operation and emergency supply of natural gas for gas supply enterprises.
