Jinling delivered the fifth ro-ro ship to DFDS xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-09-02 16:51


On September 1, the fifth 6700m ro-ro cargo ship of DFDS, which was constructed by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing), was successfully delivered.

The ship has a total length of 235 meters, a width of 33 meters, a speed of 21 knots, a carrying capacity of 6,700 meters and a trailer space of 450. It is built according to the classification standards of LR in the UK and adopts the ultra-long dual-shaft design.

As a representative of the new generation of environmentally friendly Ro-Ro ships, it meets the requirements of IMO EEDI. It adopts double low speed machine with adjustable paddle for propulsion, and the main engine is equipped with mixed scrubbers, ballast water treatment system and many other environmental protection designs.

The successful delivery of the ship marks the overall acceleration of production in Jinling, and the overall victory of the annual target.
