BSIC receives 4 VLOC orders xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-04-03 15:00


BoComm Leasing purchased four 325,000-ton very large ore carriers from Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry. 
 
Shipbroker firm Allied Shipbroking reports that four new vessels will fulfill long-term chartering contract signed with Brazilian mining company Vale, after they are delivered in 2021. The contract amount was not disclosed.
 
This year, BoComm Leasing has been rapidly expanding its fleet. In March, the company ordered 12 120,000-tonne LR2 tankers to execute long-term leases with Shell.
 
According to VesselsValue data, BoComm Leasing currently has a total of 183 ships.
