On March 31, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding successfully delivered the 180,000-ton bulk carrier "SOLAR MAJESTY" for South Korean Polaris Shipping.
 
Ye Jie, Minister of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Marketing Department, Zheng Minsheng, Deputy General Manager of Asia-Pacific Department of China Shipbuilding Trading, and Mr. KIM JO, Shipowner's Commercial Representative, achieved "cloud delivery" by telephone conference.
 
It is reported that the ship is the company's third bulk carrier delivered this month. This delivery marks the successful completion of the company's production tasks in the first quarter.
 
The "SOLAR MAJESTY" ship is the first cooperation between Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and South Korean Polaris Shipping.
 
At present, there are two 210,000-ton bulk carriers under construction. This delivery laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two parties.
