COSCO SHIPPING Holdings announced today that its subsidiary OOIL plans to build five 23000TEU container ships in Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) and Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS), with a  total price of 778.4 million US dollars (equivalent to 5.401 billion yuan).
 
On March 10,three of the five wholly-owned subsidiary single ship companies of OOIL signed shipbuilding agreements with NACKS to purchase three 23000 TEU container ships at a price of US $155.68 million (equivalent to RMB 1.080 billion) each, totaling US $467.04 million (equivalent to RMB 32.41) Billion yuan.
 
On the same day, the other two single ship companies signed a shipbuilding agreement with DACKS to purchase two 23000 TEU container ships at a total price of US $155.68 million (about RMB 1.08 billion), totaling US $311.6 million (about RMB 2.160 billion).
 
The total price of the above five vessels is 778.4 million US dollars (about 5.401 billion yuan).
