On the morning of September 23th, a delegation of Guinean Government, including the consultant of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources and the consultant of the Budget Department, visited COSCO SHIPPING headquarters in Shanghai. Mr. Huang Xiaowen, Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING, met with the delegation and exchanged views on the development of Boffa Bauxite Project cooperating with COSCO SHIPPING and CHINALCO. Heads from Operating Management Division of COSCO SHIPPING and COSCO SHIPPING Bulk attended the meeting.
The Boffa Bauxite Project is a concrete practice for COSCO SHIPPING and CHINALCO to implement “the Belt and Road” Initiative, to achieve the win-win cooperation of SOEs, and to safeguard the national mineral resources.
