On July 16, the 4,298 TEU REN JIAN 8 departed from Nansha Port, marking the official inauguration of Hede Shipping's South China–US West Coast Express Loop—a milestone for both the company and Guangzhou Nansha, now home to its first direct, point-to-point connection with Los Angeles.
This new express service:
Offers a 14-day direct transit from Nansha to LA
Operates with a weekly fixed schedule using five 2,700–4,400 TEU vessels
Enables next-day cargo pickup at WBCT terminal with dedicated berths and gate access
With this launch, Hede Shipping completes its “North–East–South” tri-port coverage from Huanghua, Shanghai, and now Guangzhou, forming a comprehensive, high-efficiency Transpacific express network.
This strategic expansion not only strengthens China's cross-border e-commerce logistics but also supports regional integration across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, and Greater Bay Area.
