On April 22, GAS CHANGJIANG, the first vessel of 99,000CBM VLEC series built by Jiangnan Shipyard for Wanhua Chemical Group, was officially named and delivered.

Reportedly, 99,000 CBM VLEC is the largest capacity VLEC in the world, which is independently developed and designed by Jiangnan Shipyard, especially its core low-temperature cargo enclosure system is the independently developed B-type hold (BrillianceE®).

Noteworthy, this ship type has won the highest award in the shipbuilding industry - the Grand Prize of Science and Technology.
