Shandong Port Group (SPG) signed a cooperation agreement with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province of South Korea on March 26.

According to the agreement, the two sides will further strengthen communication and cooperation in the areas of shipping routes, logistics, and cruise tourism, and explore collaboration in the comprehensive service sector to achieve win-win results.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province boasts picturesque island scenery and characteristic folk culture, with its tourism and aquatic industries playing a pivotal role in South Korea. The province has been given a high degree of autonomy by the South Korean government, and is rapidly building an international city center in Northeast Asia that has huge development potential.

SPG aims to build a world-class marine port that will play a crucial role in transportation and the building of a new development pattern. It is already a key hub platform that connects the world and helps stabilize the global industrial chain and supply chain, and is currently accelerating the construction of "Double First-Class" enterprises.

Going forward, the two sides will take this signing as an opportunity to enhance their friendship and fully leverage their respective resources and brand advantages, build a more economical, convenient, and efficient service platform, comprehensively promote shipping routes, tourism development, and logistics, and jointly contribute to the development of trade, cultural tourism, and other industries.
