Shanghai Containerized Freight Index increased! Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-03-20 17:06

The latest Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) was 909.72 points, up 3.17 points or 0.3% from the previous week.

The latest report from Shanghai Shipping Exchange shows that after a period of adjustment in China's export container transportation market, the overall market showed signs of stabilization this week.

Due to the different supply and demand fundamentals of different routes, the market freight rates fluctuated each other, and the composite index rose slightly. On March 17, SCFI released by Shanghai Shipping Exchange was 909.72 points, an increase of 0.3% from the previous period.

Among them, the near-sea shipping line has the highest increase, the European line and the Mediterranean line have higher freight rates, and the US East and US West lines have narrowed the decline.
