On January 16, Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping(group) announced that it would invest 864 million yuan to order four 73,800 DWT bulk carriers from Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment.
 
According to the announcement, Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping(group) plans to sign four 73,800 DWT bulk carriers contracts with Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment, with a total value of 216 million yuan for each vessel and a total cost of 864 million yuan for all four vessels. The delivery time is 22 months, 25 months, 28 months and 31 months after the contract takes effect.
 
Within the agreed time, Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping(group) has the right to announce to Jiangsu Haitong whether the subsequent two option vessels will come into force and built.
