CMES "Shanghai-Red Sea" Route opened Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-12-23 15:51


On December 20, China Merchants Energy Shipping‘s "Changshenghong", carrying about 3,000 commercial vehicles of domestic automobile brands such as Chery, Geely, SAIC, Changan and Yutong, set off from Shanghai Port to the Red Sea, marking the official opening of the international route "Shanghai-Red Sea" of CMES ro-ro fleet.
 
At present, one 4,000CEU PCTC is put into operation to provide liner transport services. The Red Sea unloading ports are Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Aqaba, Jordan, etc.
