SITC officially opened the direct shipping route between Beibu Gulf Port and Myanmar SITC 2022-11-04 10:19

On October 28, SITC VENUS C successfully arrived at Qinzhou Port Area of Beibu Gulf Port and docked at Berth No. 3 of Beibu Gulf Container Company Terminal, which marked the successful opening of SITC Beibu Gulf Port-Myanmar direct shipping route.

The new route departs from Qinzhou Port and takes 9 days to reach Klang, Malaysia and 12 days to Yangon, Myanmar, both about 40% less time than traditional transit routes. With this route, export goods can also reach ports such as Pasir Gudang, Penang, and Chittagong in Bangladesh through transit. The opening of the new route has further encrypted the foreign trade route network of SITC Beibu Gulf Port-RCEP area, providing more and more convenient export routes for hinterland goods, and greatly reducing the logistics and storage costs of enterprises.
