2018 International Ship Management and Technology Forum, which sponsored by China Ship owners Association (CSA) and China Institute of Navigation, was conducted on 25th ,October in Dalian Aulicare Hotel.
With the theme of “New Rules, New Technologies and New Challenges for shipping industry”, the forum has attracted more than 200 experts and scholars from global shipping and shipping management fields, as well as elites from relevant enterprises, which provides a high-level communication platform for stakeholders and insiders to actively promote a sustainable development of shipping industry.
Mr. Zhang Shouguo,the Executive Deputy Chairman of China Shipowners’ Association, Mr. Cao Di, the Executive Vice-chairman of the China Institute of Navigation and Mr.Wang Xiaoyong, the Vice-president of Dalian Maritime University respectively delivered opening speeches for the forum.
Mr. Zhang Baochen, the Director of WTI Academic Committee delivered the speech about how should the industry work under such maritime shipping background.
Mr. Richard Dias, the regional Technical Manager of the Marshall Islands Registry delivered the speech on Specific requirements and implementation progress of the BWM Convention, SOLAS, MARPOL and Polar Code.
The caption Mr. Hu Xichen delivered the speech on the introduction ,analysis and safety recommendations of maritime accidents.
Mr. Chen Jianxin, the BDM Certification Greater China Business and Production Management CMC delivered the speech on the response options under IMO’s 2020 Sulphur cap.
Mr. Wang Bin, the business development section of Wartsila, China delivered the speech on the introduction and application of onboard scrubbers.
Mr. Liu Yufeng, the Sales Director China, Winterthur Gas&Diesel Ltd delivered the speech on low pressure dual fuel engine technology.
Mr. Gu Zhiyong, the Director of Ship Safety Inspection Center of Pudong MSA delivered the speech on PSC inspection.
Mr. Zhang Yi, General manager of HiFleet delivered the speech on the management and operation of digital shipping.
Mr. Paulo Araujo Ferreira, DIKE Shipping Director and DIKE Advisory Senior Partner delivered the speech on the introduction of International Shipping Registry of Madeira / Porgutal .
Three rounds of panel discussion which were around How to deal with 2020 Sulphur cap, The Compliance and Development of Ship Management and Risk Control and Marine Insurance aroused the initiative of the guests and inspired heated discussion.
The forum, which was organized by Xinde Marine News，co-organized by China Shipping Service (CNSS)，and supported from Dalian Maritime University, China Maritime Service Center and BIMCO, ultimately ended with great success.
