To further diversify and expand fleet, Seacon Shipping announced on February 18 that it had inked orders for four 18,500 dwt oil/chemical tankers with Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding in total of $129.2 million. The four newbuildings are expected to be delivered between July 2025 - May 2026.

Seacon Shipping Group Holdings Limited has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2012. On March 29, 2023, the company was successfully listed on the Main Board of HKEC. As the largest local third-party ship management company in China, Seacon was listed in the world's top 10 ship managers by Lloyd's List last year and ranked ninth globally with a figure of 232 vessels in terms of total under management, which is the first time for a Chinese-funded ship management company to be included in the world's top 10 ship managers list.
