It is with great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2019 International Ship Management and Technology Forum to be held on Dec 4, 2019 in Shanghai, China. 2019 International Ship Management and Technology Forum is co- organized by China Ship owners Association (CSA) and Xinde Marine News, supported by Dalian Maritime University (DMU),Liberian Registry(LISCR) and BIMCO.
 
The Forum provides a very valuable opportunity for practitioners, professionals and researchers from the industry, academia and government to discourse on development, research and professional practice in ship management and technology.
 
The shipping industry is facing various challenges--- the requirements of the IMO's 2020sulphur cap and also IMO’s work on reducing of GHG emissions from ships, the ballast water treatment of ships being up to standard, the high development of ship intelligent informatization and digitalization, the network risks faced by shipping internet  and the  ship safety related accidents have a frequent trend --- such new rules, new technologies, and new risks are not only unprecedented challenges for ship managers, but also an important opportunity for shipping people to open a new chapter to adapt a new trend, master the technology and follow the rules.
 
The guests from the International Maritime Organization and industry associations, government departments and maritime authorities, flag states, classification societies, well-known shipping enterprises and ship management companies at home and abroad, charters, maritime  lawyers, insurance and financial investment institutions, ship yards ,equipment manufacturers and service providers will attend and address at the forum as keynote speakers with the theme of “Green, Digitalization and Safety for shipping industry”.
