China Shipping bulletins on November 14,2019


1.Chinese energy giant Sinopec is planning to build a fleet of 100 barges over the next three years as part of its mission to become a major regional supplier of the IMO 2020-compliant VLSFO.
 
2.China will make a billion-dollar investment in the Brazilian port of Sao Luis via China Communications Construction Company, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter said on Wednesday.

3.China Merchants RoRo Transportation Company (Guangzhou), a joint venture between China Merchants Energy Shipping and GAC Business, has been launched in Nansha free trade zone, Guangzhou.

4.China's LPG imports rebounded in September to 1.77mn t, up by 6.5pc from the previous month as demand rose on the back of falling import costs. 
 
5.Cosco Shipping Lines (Europe), the Hamburg-based affiliate of Cosco Shipping, has established Diamond Line, a wholly-owned subsidiary incorporated in Germany in July, to take over the intra-Europe trade.
