China Shipping bulletins on Apr 23,2019


1.Chinese President Xi Jinping called for concerted efforts to safeguard maritime peace and build a maritime community with a shared future on Tuesday during a multi-national naval event marking the 70th founding anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy. 
 
2.SHANGHAI, the world's biggest container port, posted a 12.4 per cent year-on -year increase in container volume in March to 3.81 million TEU, according to the Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG).

6.China's offshore wind energy sector is expected to boom this year onward on the back of a maturing onshore segment, and the country's accent on growth via high-quality manufacturing and consumption upgrade. 
 
7.China's crude oil futures settled higher on Monday.The most active contract for June 2019 delivery gained 3.31 percent to 490.2 yuan per barrel, data from the Shanghai International Energy Exchange showed. 
 
8.China’s COSCO Shipping Lines has named its latest 21,000 TEU containership at compatriot Jiangnan Shanghai Changxing shipyard.The naming ceremony for COSCO Shipping Galaxy was held in Shanghai on April 18, 2019.
