China Shipping bulletins on November 27,2018


1.QTerminals announced that it has received approval to design, develop and operate Phase II of Hamad Port.QTerminals is the newly-established operator of the first phase of Hamad Port.The latter signed an MoU with China Harbour Engineering Company aiming to create joint chances of employment and investments between both sides. 
 
2.Taiwan imported 13.03 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the first nine months of this year, up 3.7 percent from the same period in the year before, according to the customs data.
 
3.China's state-owned CNPC has replaced France's Total in Iran's multibillion-dollar South Pars gas project, Iranian Oil Minister said on November 25.

6.Mining giant Rio Tinto will sell its entire 68.62% stake in Rossing Uranium Ltd in Namibia for $106.5 million to China National Uranium Corporation Ltd, in order to focus on its core assets including iron, copper and aluminum, the company said on November 26.
