China Shipping bulletins on September 19,2018


1.According to GAC,pilot services in Hong Kong are being resumed from 17 September,after the departure of former Typhoon Mangkhut.Priority is being given to container ships berthing at Kwai Chung/Tsing Yi Terminals.
 
2.China will roll out new measures including cutting customs clearance times, streamlining port services and improving the export tax rebate policy to increase opening-up and facilitate foreign trade,it was announced by Premier Li Keqiang on Tuesday.
 
3.COSCO Shipping Ports' container volumes in August rose by 12% year on year to 8.7 million TEU on the back of strong growth at its northern China ports,with box throughput at its terminals in the Bohai Rim region rising 22 % to 1.8 million TEU.

8.DNV GL has awarded Chinese shipyard Jiangnan with an Approval in Principle (AiP) for the design of a 93,000-cubic meter(cbm) very large ethane carrier.
