1.Norwegian oil service company Aker Solutions will install 35 kilometers power umbilicals for a Chinese oil company in the South China Sea.
 
2.Danish shipping and logistics company DFDS has exercised an option at China’s Jinling Shipyard for the construction of one additional roro ferry,as part of the company's fleet renewal program.
 
3.Zhenhua Oil Corporation, a unit of China North Industries Group Corp, a defense conglomerate, has reportedly set up a liquefied natural gas unit.The company has established a team led by its head of crude oil trading,Yu Fengwei.The team would size up investment in LNG terminals and carry out trading activities of the chilled fuel.
 
4.Oil major BP on Tuesday offloaded about 1 million barrels of Angolan crude from supertanker Olympic Light to an independent Chinese refiner after holding the oil at sea for about three months.
 
5.Trans Global Projects,a U.K.-based international project logistics specialist,has exited Hong Kong to consolidate operations further north in Shanghai and Dalian.
 
6.Oil prices went up on Thursday after slumping over 2 percent in the previous session.
